A family-owned restaurant in Carrollton is closing its doors in October.

Knickers Bar & Grill took to social media Monday afternoon to announce the closure of the restaurant that has been located on the Carroll Meadows golf course for 23 years. The closure comes following the death of the founder of Knickers, Emil Pozderac who died in April of 2023 at the age of 89.

“After 23 incredible years, it’s a bittersweet moment as we reflect on the memories and the legacy left by our founder Emil Pozderac, the true heart and soul of this place,” they wrote in a Facebook post.

Knickers Bar & Grill will officially close on Sunday, October 15th.

Carroll Meadows Golf Course will remain open and will not be closing.
