Carrollton student brings knife to homecoming dance; authorities investigating

Carrollton Schools Superintendent, Dave Davis, has addressed a recent incident where a 16-year-old student brought a knife to the Fall Homecoming Dance.

The incident occurred on Saturday, September 23, when a student reported that another student had brought a knife to the dance.

No students were injured in the incident.

In a message to parents, staff members, and students, Superintendent Davis reiterated the school’s commitment to student safety and emphasized the importance of reporting any potential safety concerns.

Superintendent Davis expressed gratitude for the student who reported the knife.

Carrollton Schools is actively collaboratingu with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office regarding the incident.
