Singer Jane Marczewski, 30, an Ohio-based singer who is battling cancer, wowed over judges on America’s Got Talent on Tuesday night’s episode, earning a Golden Buzzer with her show-stopping performance.

Marczewski, a resident of Zanesville who performs as Nightbirde, sang an original song on the show – “It’s OK.” She won over the hearts of all the judges but especially Simon Cowell.

She said she has a 2% chance of living with cancer throughout her body, including her lungs, spine and liver.

While giving his feedback of her performance, Cowell got choked up.

“There was something about that song after you casually just told us what you are going through,” Cowell said, on the verge of tears. “There have been some great singers this year and I’m not going to give you a yes, I’m going to give you something else.”

Cowell rewarded her with a Golden Buzzer honor, sending her directly to the live shows.
