Traffic is at a standstill on I-“77 northbound in Tuscarawas County near Strasburg.
A single-vehicle crash involving a commercial semi-truck resulted in just one lane of traffic being open. A secondary crash near Schneiders Crossing (Exit 85) resulted in all lanes on I-77 in that area to be closed, but the Schneiders Crossing crash has since been cleared.
Right now Lauren Borell with ODOT District 11 says they expect the lane restrictions to last several hours as crews work to clean up the crash with the commercial vehicle.
Both crashes happened between Dover and Strasburg (exits 85-87) on I-77 N.
