Stark County Sheriff’s Office searching for woman accused of robbing bank

The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into a robbery that took place at a local bank in Plain Township.

The incident occurred on Thursday, November 16, at approximately 9:00 a.m.

According to authorities, a white female suspect entered the First Commonwealth Bank located at 6252 Middlebranch Avenue N.E. in Plain Township. The suspect was reportedly wearing a surgical mask and sunglasses at the time of the incident.

Eyewitnesses stated that the suspect indicated she possessed a firearm and demanded money from the bank employees. After successfully obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene on foot, heading north. Officials believe the suspect to be a white female with a medium build and long dark hair.

Law enforcement agencies are actively investigating the matter, and they are urging the public to come forward with any information that might assist in identifying and locating the suspect.
