Marlington Local Schools has announced the appointment of Nick Stroemple as the new Head Girls Basketball Coach.
Stroemple joins Marlington from North Canton City Schools, where he served as the varsity girls basketball assistant for seven years and the head coach of the cross-country team for six seasons.
“The committee was very impressed with the details and plan that Coach Stroemple came to us with. He displayed to us great passion and teaching ability,” said Steve Miller, Marlington’s current Athletic Director.
Stroemple succeeds Mike Stadulis, who led the Lady Dukes for the past eight years. Under Stadulis’s leadership, the team won three Eastern Buckeye Conference championships and the 2023 District Championship.
