A 15-year-old Harrison Central High School student has reportedly passed away.
Zane Carson died Wednesday according to an obituary posted to Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home in Cadiz website. Zane’s cause of death has not been released.
Zane was getting ready to start his sophomore year at Harrison Central High School where he played soccer, and lettered in track, wrestling, and academics, his obituary read. Zane was also active in racing motor cross, where he was the 2021 class champion.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Anna Beall Carson.
Surviving in addition to his parents; are his sister, Ava of the home; grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. at the John W. Stephenson Center, 18 Court Street, Cadiz next to the Harrison Central Football and Soccer complex, where funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Mark Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio.
