Minerva boys, girls cross-country teams win district championships

The Minerva Lions boys and girls cross-country teams are district champions.

All seven Minerva girls qualified as individual regional competitors.

Leading the pack, Katie Ison secured an impressive 1st place finish, followed by Hannah Ison in 4th place, and Kayla Crissman in 5th. Gabby Lupshu claimed 7th place, while Makenzie Beavers secured 8th place. Annabelle Crissman and Makenna Jones placed 11th and 21st place finishes, respectively.

The Minerva boys team boasted 5 individual regional qualifiers.

Grasyn Rettig secured a 2nd place finish, closely followed by Rowen Hoffee in 3rd place. Mason Steele showcased his talent with a commendable 5th place finish, while Owen Yoder demonstrated his skill by securing 13th place. Ryan Cassidy rounded out the impressive performances with an admirable 15th place finish.

Kaden Knappenberger showcased his determination by securing 29th place, while Jon Hopple finished 47th place finish.

The teams will compete at Pickerington next Saturday for regionals.
