The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 43-year-old from Tuscarawas County just after midnight Wednesday.
According to the New Philadelphia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Kaliesha M. Cale, 43, of Newcomerstown was traveling southbound on Township Road 108 in Oxford Township when she failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the roadway striking tree and overturning.
Cale sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
Assisting on scene with the Ohio State Highway Patrol was the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office, Newcomerstown Fire Department, Tri-County Ambulance, Tuscarawas County Coroner’s Office, and Jim’s Towing.
The crash remains under investigation by officials.
