A 12-year-old Beaver Local student has died after a fatal hunting accident, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
Ethan Barker, 12, of Wellsville, was hunting with others in Columbiana County at the Highlandtown Wildlife Area on Sunday morning when the accident happened.
According to Ethan’s obituary posted on Dawson Funeral Home’s website, Ethan was a 7th grade student at Beaver Local Schools. He previously attended Southern Local.
The details regarding the incident have not been disclosed.
