Woman injured in Dover shooting; police believe incident is domestic related

Authorities are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday, leaving a woman injured but in stable condition.

The incident, believed to be a domestic dispute, took place at a residence in the 100 block of Regent Street. The male suspect involved in the altercation has been apprehended by local law enforcement.

According to Detective Chad Mowrer, officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of shots being fired at approximately 12:11 p.m Saturday. Upon arrival, they discovered a woman with non-life-threatening injuries. She was promptly transported to Aultman Hospital for medical treatment.

The identity of both the victim and the suspect have not been disclosed at this time. With limited information available, authorities are actively working to gather more details surrounding the incident.

Law enforcement officials have confirmed that the suspect resides on Regent Street, where the incident unfolded.
