One person has died following a shooting at a movie theater in Stark County.
The incident took place on Friday; May 10, just before 11:00 PM, within the premises of Regal Cinemas at 175 Cherry Rd. NW in Massillon.
The Massillon Police Department responded to the scene, discovering a deceased male near the front lobby. The victim was identified as Daron Davis, 27, from Canton.
A short time later, around 11:30 PM, a suspect was apprehended outside the Massillon Police Department.
The individual is currently under custody and is being treated as a suspect. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
