Motorists who travel U.S. Route 30 through Minerva over the Bridge near Grinders, just east of Brock Ave will have their commutes interrupted beginning Monday, Aug. 21.
The detour, which is expected to last 45 days, is to help mitigate traffic as Ohio Department of Transportation road crews do a bridge replacement project.
The posted detour will be State Route 183 to State Route 172 to U.S. 30. This detour is mainly for large semi-tractor trailers to keep them off of side roads in Minerva that are not equipped to handle the larger vehicles.
The bridge replacement project is scheduled to be completed in early October.
