The Canton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a motorcycle crash that claimed the life of a man Monday evening.
The crash happened Monday evening around 9 pm on Riverside Ave.
Troopers say a man on a motorcycle traveling south on Riverside Ave failed to negotiate a curve, went left of center, off the road and hit a ditch.
The operator of the motorcycle, Bradley Jacobs, 64, of Massillon, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials report Jacobs was not wearing a helmet and alcohol is believed to be a factor of the crash.
