The Canton Police Department is investigating another homicide in the city, this time with a 16-year-old suspected shooter.
According to Canton Police Chief John Gabbard officers were dispatched to 1326 7th St. NW for reports of a shooting around 5am on July 4.
When officers arrived to the scene, they located Musa El Bey, 50, of Canton dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the residence.
The victim’s son, Daman Dillard, 16, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with murder.
The investigation continues. Anyone with any information regarding to this crime is asked to contact the Canton Police Detective Bureau, at (330) 489-3144.
