Authorities reported that at least one person was killed and three were injured in a shooting incident that took place in central Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon.
Police are actively searching for the perpetrator, while local residents were advised to stay away from the 1110 W. Peachtree St. area, where the “active shooter” was first reported at around 12:30 p.m.
“Three have been transported to the hospital for treatment and a fourth has been pronounced deceased on scene,” police said in a statement.
The suspect is still at large, and the police have released pictures of the individual in question. Police say they are also on the lookout for any additional victims.
The location of the incident corresponds to Northside Family Medicine and Urgent Care, as per police reports.
