Students at Salem Junior/High School have been evacuated following a bomb threat Tuesday morning.
According to Salem City Schools, all students have been evacuated from the premises and are safe.
A K-9 unit is on the way to sweep the school, according to the district. Students are being released to their parents now at First Christian Church. If parents are unable to pick up their children, bus routes will start up once the school is considered clear.
The district said they will provide more details as the situation progresses.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
