HS Football Friday: New Philadelphia beats Dover in OT; Fairless, Garaway clinch conference titles

The New Philadelphia Quakers pulled out a 21-20 victory over Dover in an overtime edition of the long-running high school rivalry.

In the 118th annual meeting between the rival schools, Quakers quarterback Keaton Fausel scored two touchdowns, including the game-tying score in overtime. Nathaniel Demuth followed with the game-winning point-after kick to give New Phila its 52nd all-time win over the Crimson Tornadoes.

Trevor Bean also added a touchdown for the Quakers (6-4).

For Dover (5-5), JJ Barton scored a pair of touchdowns in the Crimson Tornadoes’ third overtime loss of the year.
