The FBI Canton Office is investigating a Friday morning robbery at a local bank.
The Canal Fulton Police Department was dispatched to Applecreek Bank at 2414 S. Locust St. for reports of a business alarm. When they arrived, they learned a robbery had just occurred.
According to the Canal Fulton Police Chief Sara Wilson, officials have “reliable information that the suspect is no longer” in the Canal Fulton area and there is no threat to the community. The amount of money taken was not disclosed.
