A Saturday report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Jeff Darlington reported that Tom Brady was planning to retire from the NFL after 22 seasons.

However, as the afternoon passed, reports began to surface of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization had not been made aware of a retirement decision by the 44-year-old Brady.
About an hour ago, I asked Bucs coach @BruceArians if @TomBrady had informed the team that he's retiring. He responded via text, "No, he hasn't." Other key people here have also said privately they didn't know this was coming.

Now, reports say that Brady contacted Bucs general manager Jeff Licht, ssying he had not yet made a final decision on whether or not Brady would walk away from the game of football.
TB12 Sports has since deleted their tweet commemorsting Brady for his presumed ending football career.
Should the earlier reports prove to be true, Brady would retire as 7-time Super Bowl champion and 3-time MVP winner, as well as the all-time NFL leader in multiple statistical categories, including touchdowns and passing yards.
