Thursday afternoon, Jason McDermitt was found fuilty on charges of Aggravated Murder and Firearm Specification and Menancing by Stalking after shooting and killing Morgan Fox, 29, in North Canton.
Police said Fox was shot and killed while entering her parked vehicle in the driveway of her own home on Frazer Ave.
McDermitt was arrested the next day after he shot Fox twice in the head on Oct. 28, killing her.
Fox and McDermitt, both 29, were friends and coworkers before the young woman broke off the relationship.
The convicted man will be sentenced April 14.
