Students in the Louisville City School District will be home on Wednesday, March 10 as several staff members recover after receiving the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the school’s Facebook page.

Some school districts were scheduled to receive the vaccine on the weekend, allowing for a full non-school recovery day, but due to the large number of Stark County schools and community members receiving the vaccine, the Louisville City Schools were assigned to get the vaccine during the week.

“We are grateful that our staff was able to receive their vaccination.” read a statement posted to the school district’s Facebook page.

RG Drage will still be in session March 10.
