Authorities are searching for a man wanted on a rape charge in Massillon, according to the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Tyler Anderson, 30, is described by U.S. Marshals as a white man, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 155 pounds. Officials said in a Monday release that he has ties to Cleveland and Akron and should be considered armed and dangerous.
In addition to the rape charge, Anderson is wanted by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office for violating probation in cases involving felonious assault and domestic violence.
The task force is asking anyone with information on Anderson’s whereabouts to call 1-866-4WANTED (1-866-492-6833) or submit a tip through the U.S. Marshals website. Tips can be submitted anonymously, and a reward may be offered.
