A Minerva man has been indicted by a Carroll County grand jury on 23 counts alleging sexual offenses involving a minor, according to Carroll County Prosecutor Steven Barnett.
Joshua T. Brady, 48, of 100 Weimer St., was indicted Jan. 7 in Common Pleas Court on one count of second-degree sexual battery, one count of third-degree sexual battery, one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a fourth-degree felony, one count of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a fourth-degree felony, one count of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, a fifth-degree felony, seventeen counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, each a fourth-degree felony, and one count of grooming, a fifth-degree felony, Barnett said in a statement. The investigation was led by Minerva Police.
Prosecutors allege the offenses occurred between May 2024 and August 2025 and involved a 15-year-old girl. The indictment also alleges Brady possessed nude photos of the minor stored electronically.
