The Dover Crimson Tornadoes bested Wheeling Park by a 64-47 final on Saturday.

T.C. Molk led Dover with a 24-point performance, while Ayden Hall (15 points) and Ben Hamm (10 points) added to the Crimson scoring.

The Tornadoes moved to 9-1 for the year with the win.

New Philadelphia 51, East Liverpool 31

The Quakers bested East Liverpool in a Saturday night contest hat boosted N.P. to an 8-2 record.

The Potters fell to 9-2 with the loss.

Indian Valley 69, Sandy Valley 42

Lucas Hagan and Tyson Pryor each scored 15 points in the Indian Valley Braves’ victory over the Sandy Valley Cardinals on Saturday in Magnolia.

Kaiden Mastri scored 12 points to lead Sandy (5-7, 1-4 North) in the defeat, while Brandon Wigfield totaled 11 points.

The Braves moved to 2-3 in the IVC South and 8-4 overall.

Cleveland Benedictine 62, Tuscarawas Central Catholic 52

Benedictine High Schoolpicked up a road win against the Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints on Saturday.

The Bengals’ leading scorer was sophomore Kris Smith (12 points).

TCC fell to 5-6 with the non-conference loss.

Licking Valley 55, River View 45

River View dropped a 10-point decision to Licking Valley.

Fairless 52, Carrollton 51

The Fairless Falcons outlasted the Carrollton Warriors in a night matchup.

The Falcons moved to 6-6 with the victory.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Louisville 53, New Philadelphia 46

Louisville High School moved to 8-3 on the year with a seven-point Saturday victory at New Philadelphia.

Kelsey Adelman scored 19 points to lead the Leopards, while Kendal Loy also broke double figures, finishing with 12 points.

The Quakers dropped to 9-2 on the year with the loss.

Dover 36, Marietta 26

The Dover Tornadoes posted a second-quarter shutout of the Marietta offense in their 10-point victory over the Tigers on Saturday.

Morgan Kiser led the Crimson Tornadoes with 14 points, while Taylor Luneborg (nine points), Ava Zobel (seven points) contributed to the Dover scoring.

Dover’s record moved to 4-4 with the victory.

Hiland 58, Ridgewood 38

Hiland recorded a 20-point victory at Ridgewood on Saturday.

Aila Miller led the Hawks (9-4, 6-1 IVC South) with 22 points, while Ashley Mullet added 13.

The Generals dropped to 5-8 (1-6 South).

Sandy Valley 46, Indian Valley 43

Sandy Valley’s girls’ squad edged Indian Valley in a Saturday home final.

The Cardinals (11-2, 5-2 IVC South) were led by Alli Neary’s 14 points and six rebounds, while Jordan Parker (10 points, four rebounds) and Lexi Tucci (seven points) added to the Sandy win.

The Braves dropped to 0-12 (0-6 South).

Strasburg 52, Newcomerstown 16

Strasburg extended its IVC-best winning streak to 12 games as the Tigers blew out the Newcomerstown Trojans on Saturday in Strasburg.

The Tigers defense shut out the visitors in the second quarter en route to a 21-forced turnover performance.

With the victory, Strasburg moved to 12-1 and an IVC North-best 7-0.

Nc’Town dropped to 1-5 in conference play and 1-9 overall.

Malvern 32, Canton Central Catholic 30

The Malvern Lady Hornets boosted their record to 8-6 with a close win over Canton Central Catholic on Saturday.

Maddie Powers (11 points), Lanie Bower (9), and Alyiah Watson (8) led the Hornets’ scoring.

Lindsey McCue led the Crusaders with 11 points – Canton Central’s lone double-figures scorer.

Tuscarawas Central Catholic 46, East Canton 38

TCC bested East Canton on Saturday.

Gina Sciaretti totaled a Saints-high 15 points, while Reese Triplett scored 13 points.

Tori Reichard led the Hornets with 11 points.

Tuscarawas Valley 67, Garaway 43

The Tusky Valley Trojans stumped the Garaway offense early in a 24-point Trojans victory on Saturday in Zoarville.

Brook Stookey scored 25 points to command the Tusky offense, followed by Chloe Salapack (nine points), Ashley Merrick (eight points), and Kaleigh Norris (seven points).

Marley Metzger led the Pirates (5-8, 3-4 IVC South).

Tusky Valley remained unbeaten in IVC South play (7-0) and improved their overall record to 10-2.

Buckeye Trail 53, Conotton Valley 21

The Buckeye Trail Warriors handled the Conotton Valley Rockets on Saturday.

Fairless 69, Carrollton 49

Fairless’ girls squad won by 20 points over Carrollton on Saturday.

WRESTLING

Licking Valley Invt.

Carrollton finished fourth overall in a 16-team pool at the Licking Valley Invitational on Saturday.

The Warriors totaled 176 points for the day, behind winning host Licking Valley (225), second-place Utica (194), and third-place Newark (191).

River View (124 points) finished sixth overall.

Claymont Super Duals

West Holmes High School finished second at the Claymont Duals, going 4-1 with victories over competing schools like Sandy Valley (72-7), Claymont (63-13), Bloom-Carroll (58-18), and Solon (48-25).

The Knights’ lone loss came to Minerva, who bested W.H. 40-28.

GIRLS BOWLING

RIVER VIEW INVITATIONAL

Tuscarawas Central Catholic’s girls’ bowling team finished second place at the River View Invitational on Saturday in Coshocton.

Marisha Gonzalez finished third among all individuals, as the Saints’ record moved to 5-2 for the year.
