Two people died following a crash Saturday morning in Stark County, according to authorities.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Erie Street South and Navarre Road in Perry Township at approximately 7:05 a.m.
Stark County Coroner Chief Investigator Tammy Wilkes said a woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A man was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Additional details about the crash, including how many vehicles were involved and the circumstances leading up to the collision, were not immediately released.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
