Three killed, including two juveniles, in Ohio house fire

A fatal fire at a residence in Orient is under joint investigation by the Division of State Fire Marshal’s Fire and Explosion Investigation Bureau, Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner. There were three confirmed male fatalities aged 55, 17 and 10.

At approximately 12:22 a.m., Tuesday, January 23, fire departments were dispatched to a fire at 11724 Ballah Rd. 4400, Darby Twp in Orient (Pickaway County), with mutual aid supplied by the Tri-County Joint Fire District, Sterling Joint Ambulance District, Scioto Township, Pleasant Township, Jackson Township, Harrison Township, Jefferson Township, and Range Township Fire departments.

Investigators report there is no indication of foul play, but the cause of the fire is currently undetermined as the investigation proceeds.
