The Carrollton Athletic Committee has selected Storm Hill as the recommended candidate for the position of Head Football Coach for the Carrollton Warriors, following the departure of Coach Jim Tsilimos.
A 2005 graduate of Carrollton High, Coach Hill’s nomination will be presented to the Carrollton Board of Education during their upcoming meeting on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024.
Hill brings an impressive background to the role, having lettered and served as captain in both football and baseball during his time at Carrollton High. Following graduation, he pursued his education at the Ohio State University before transferring to Walsh University. At Walsh, Coach Hill played as a Defensive Back for the Cavaliers, under the guidance of the coach Jim Dennison.
His academic achievements include graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors, holding a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, and a degree in Middle Childhood Education.
With 14 years of coaching experience, Coach Hill has been an integral part of the Carrollton Warriors coaching staff, serving as the Defensive Coordinator for the past eight seasons. Beyond his coaching responsibilities, he is actively involved in education, currently teaching at Carrollton Middle School.
Coach Hill is not only dedicated to the sport but also to his family. He and his wife, Meghan, are parents to two sons, Owen (7) and Harrison (5).
Pending approval by the Board of Education, Storm Hill will take over the reins as the new Head Football Coach, bringing his wealth of experience and a strong connection to the Carrollton community.
