Fifth District officers in Cleveland were summoned to the vicinity of East 105th and Superior for reports of a child abduction. According to Cleveland Police, a 1-year-old child was forcibly taken from her mother’s custody by a known individual, who threatened the child with serious physical harm.
The suspect, identified as Lamar Miles, a 34-year-old Black male standing at approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 300 pounds, was reported to have fled the scene in his vehicle. At the time of the incident, his attire was unknown, but he was reported to be wearing gray jogging pants.
The victim, Marleah Miles, is a 1-year-old Black female, measuring approximately 3 feet in height, weighing 25 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a medium skin complexion. She was last seen wearing a purple coat, gray t-shirt, blue jeans, and purple Adidas shoes.
The suspect is believed to be driving a dark blue Kia Sportage SUV with Ohio license plate number JCJ 9121.
