A 17-year-old girl from Louisville was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of a 22-year-old man in September 2022.
Marissa Smith received a minimum sentence of 15 years for the stabbing incident that took place in Wildwood Park, where she borrowed a knife from a friend during a fight with Michael Morris and other teenagers.
The 16-year-old friend who lent her the knife will face adjudication soon.
