Tallmadge Police are investigating the sudden death of a two-year-child from over the weekend.
According to Chief Ron Williams, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of South Ave in Tallmadge. By the time they arrived to the scene, the child’s father had left with the child to go to an urgent care.
The child was then transported by Tallmadge EMS to Akron Children’s Hospital where the child was pronounced dead.
The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy.
