Browns, Jets to play in Pro Football Hall of Fame Game on August 3

The Cleveland Browns and New York Jets will play in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game on Thursday, Aug. 3 in Canton, Ohio.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame confirmed the teams on Tuesday afternoon.

Both teams will be represented among the Class of 2023 Hall of Fame inductees, with former offensive lineman Joe Thomas (Cleveland), cornerback Darrelle Revis, and defensive lineman Joe Klecko (New York) set to be enshrined this fall.

The Browns will play in their sixth Hall of Fame Game since the preseason exhibition’s inaugural contest in 1962, and their first since the franchise’s return via expansion in 1999.
