A Kimble truck driver was seriously injured in a crash on I-77 Tuesday afternoon, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
Bill Holland, a sheriff’s inspector reports the truck was rear-ended by another truck, flipping the Kimble truck to its side around 3:30 pm.
The driver of the Kimble truck had to be removed from the vehicle by the Green Fire Department. He was transported to Summa Hospital with serious injuries.
The crash stalled traffic for a few hours, but eventually began flowing by late evening.
The crash remains under investigation.
