Drew Dossi scored 21 points, as Wooster topped New Philadelphia, 53-43, in a non-conference boys basketball game on Friday night.

Javar Simpson added 12 points for Wooster, while Micah McKee totaled 11 points.

Carter Vandall led the Quakers with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Michael Vickers followed with 10 points.

HILAND 47, TUSCARAWAS VALLEY 32

Dylan Weaver and Chris Shetler each scored 11 points as Hiland won their Friday night IVC South showdown with Tusky Valley.

Grant Miller added 10 points for the Hawks (17-4, 11-1 IVC South), while the Trojans (15-7, 7-5 South) got 11 points from Logan Stotzer and seven points from Cody Robinson.

COSHOCTON 49, CLAYMONT 36

Coshocton won its Senior Night game over visiting Claymont.

Zach Jennings scored 23 points for the victors.

Brody Moreland led the Mustangs with 13 points.

Indian Valley and Sandy Valley split their respective matches on Friday at Cy Young Lanes.

The Cardinal girls edged I.V., led by Miah Delaney’s 343 series (212-131) and Makenzie McLemore’s 292 (142-150).

Kiana Stevens led the Braves with a 304 (138-116), while Kari Mace rolled a 301 (151-150).

In the boys’ match, Indian Valley handled the Cards, with Frasher Gray bowling a 361 (181-180). Daniel Grewell added a 347 (172-170) for the Braves.

Jacob Fiddler led Sandy with a 331 (149-182), while Jaden Cappillo added a 287 (119-168).

CANTON McKINLEY 2731, MINERVA 2397 (BOYS)

MINERVA 2158, CANTON McKINLEY 1958 (GIRLS)

Minerva split a pair of matches with Canton McKinley on Friday at AMF/Hall of Fame Lanes.

In the boys’ match, the Bulldogs bested the Lions, despite Michael may bowling a 400 series (242-158) for Minerva. Lloyd Grate added a 373 (204-168) for the Lions.

For the girls, Jadynn Thompson rolled a 347 (155-192) to lead the Lady Lions’ victory, along with a 346 from Shelby Worrell (145-201).
