An elderly couple is released after a handful of local firemen in Tuscarawas county took the time to clear their sidewalk and stairs while responding to a call.
Friday night, Dennison Fire Department EMS unit responded to an elderly couples’ house for a call. While emergency personnel tended to the husband, the wife was telling some of them that they couldn’t find anyone to clear their sidewalks.
Three Denison volunteer fireman stepped in to help clean the sidewalk for the couple after they transported the husband to the hospital.
The volunteers were Rich Flanagan, Dominic Cottrell, and Zach McDonald.
