The Canton Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred Friday night in the 100 block of 17th St. N.W. just before 8 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to the scene for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they located a man, later identified as Riquan Jennings, 25, of Canton, dead in the vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.
While officers were on scene, they were notified that Enijual Toles, 20, of Massillon, walked into Aultman Hospital with an apparent gunshot to the head. Toles told officer that he was in the vehicle with Jennings when they were shot by unknown suspect(s).
