Multiple reports have surfaced that the Cleveland Browns’ upcoming game against the Las Vegas Raiders has been rescheduled from Saturday, December 18, to Monday, Dec. 20, at 5 p.m.
I am being told there have been NFL/NFLPA discussions today about rescheduling Saturday’s Raiders-Browns game, likely to Monday or Tuesday. A decision could be announced within the next hour, before Raiders are scheduled to travel to Cleveland.

The change in schedule comes after a rash of COVID-19 cases surfaced within the Browns this past week.
Raiders at Browns now will be played Monday night at 5 pm ET, per sources.

Multiple players tested positive in Berea this week, including quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum, wide receiver Jarvis Landry, tight end Austin Hooper, offensive linemen Wyatt Teller and Jedrick Wills, defensive ends Jadeveon Clowney and Takk McKinley, linebackers Mack Wilson and Jacob Phillips, cornerbacks Troy Hill and A.J. Green, and safeties Grant Deloitte, John Johnson III, and Ronnie Harrison.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski also tested positive earlier in the week.
The Browns are 7-6 and coming off a close win over the Baltimore Ravens this past Sunday, while the Raiders (6-7) head to Cleveland off a Sunday loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Cleveland’s next scheduled game after the would-be Monday matchup is against the Green Bay Packers on Christmas at Lambeau Field.
