The Akron Police Department needs your help solving three robberies that occurred over the weekend.

Detectives said the first robbery happened Friday around 6:15 p.m. out a bar in the 1500 block of Aster Ave. Two men wearing masks, one of them armed with what appeared to be a rifle, approached two men before demanding the victims’ property and fled the scene with one of the victim’s wallets.

About an hour later, police were dispatched to the BP Pit Stop located in the 500 block of E. Waterloo Rd. When they arrived on the scene, the clerk told them two males entered the store and demanded money from the registers. One of the suspects fired shots inside the store before they both fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspects are believed to be young black males. The first suspect was around 6’0”-6’2, and approximately 140 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes. The second suspect was between 5’8”- 5”10” and weighed around 130 pounds. He was also wearing a hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
