Some local businesses suffered damage from Thursday evening’s unexpected storms.
The National Weather Service of Cleveland has confirmed a tornado touched down in Jackson Township.
Royal Docks Brewing Co. was one of the businesses impacted by the storms bath.
“Most important, everyone is safe,” the business posted on Facebook. “[Thursday] at around 5:15pm, a microburst or Tornado hit our BREWHOUSE + CANNERY location in Jackson Township. We appreciate the concerns and support. At this time we ask that you do not approach the building as the Jackson Fire Department continues to assess the damage. The building structure is not safe at this time. Again, we appreciate your concern.”
The NWS of Cleveland determined the tornado first touched down at North Park before traveling Northeast towards the Royal Dock Brewing Co.
