The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating after a single-vehicle accident in the early morning hours Saturday.
The accident occurred on Interstate 77 near mile post 90.
The driver was driving a 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis heading north bound on 77. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and through the media before striking the embankment and two concrete bridge pillars.
The driver, who’s name has not been released, died at the scene. A seatbelt was not worn.
The crash remains under investigation.
