An arrest has been made in the shooting death of a 22-year-old New Philadelphia man.
US Marshals arrested 19-year-old Sajjaad Butler Friday afternoon in Canton. New Philadelphia police say Butler is accused of firing the fatal shot that killed 22-year-old Gaven Carlisle early Friday morning in the 600 block of 11th Dr. NW.
Butler has been charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated murder.
According to local media reports, New Philadelphia Captain Shawn Nelson said Butler fired the fatal shot from the passenger side of a vehicle. Police are still looking for the three other males who were in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.
