A section of Brumbaugh Street Northwest in Lake Township was temporarily closed Monday due to a water main break, according to the City of North Canton.
The closure affects Brumbaugh Street NW between Humberside Avenue NW and Mackenzie Avenue NW. City officials said the North Canton Water Department, working with the Lake Township Road Department, shut down the roadway for emergency repairs.
The closure began Monday, Dec. 29, 2025. A detour has been marked for motorists while crews work to repair the damaged water main.
Repairs were expected to be completed by approximately 1 p.m. Monday, though officials said the road will remain closed until all work is finished.
