A 45-year-old Alliance woman was killed Sunday evening in a single-vehicle crash in Stark County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened about 6:19 p.m. on Beech Street NE, east of Oakhill Avenue NE. Troopers said Alisha Broad was driving west in a 2015 Cadillac Escalade when she lost control, went off the right side of the road and struck a ditch, culvert and mailbox before the vehicle overturned several times.

Broad, the only person in the SUV, was not wearing a seat belt, investigators said.

The crash remains under investigation. Washington Township Fire and EMS and Marlboro Towing assisted at the scene.
