Westbound U.S. Route 62 is temporarily closed at State Route 225 (Union Avenue NE) following a single-vehicle crash Monday, according to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred in Lexington Township, prompting an investigation into the cause of the crash. The Canton Metro Crash Team is assisting with the investigation.
Authorities have not released additional details about the crash or whether anyone was injured.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area. The sheriff’s office said it will provide an update once the roadway has reopened.
