A passenger in a side-by-side recreational vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries Friday morning in a crash involving a semi on U.S. Route 30 between Robertsville and Minerva.
Emergency crews were called to the crash in the 13000 block of Lincoln Street SE, near Baywood Street SE.
Initial information indicates two people riding in the side-by-side. The passenger was ejected. Authorities said the passenger sustained life-threatening injuries. The condition of the driver was not immediately available.
U.S. 30 was fully closed in the area following the crash as emergency crews responded and investigators worked at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office and the Canton Metro Crash Team.
