A person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting Monday morning at an apartment complex in the 3900 block of Tuscarawas Street W, near the intersection of Aultman Avenue NW.
Canton Police Lt. Dennis Garren said officers were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting. The victim was found at the apartment complex and transported to a local hospital.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident. No additional details, including information about a possible suspect or motive, were immediately available Monday.
Jordan Miller News was on scene as the victim was removed from the apartment complex on a stretcher.
