Monday, Dec. 15 Update: Jackson Township Police have arrested Quincy Coleman, 24, who has a Carrollton address. He faces one charge of felonious assault. They say Coleman turned himself in Monday, Dec. 15.
Police are investigating a reported shooting following a disturbance between two men Tuesday night in Jackson Township.
According to the Jackson Township Police Department, officers were dispatched at about 8:49 p.m. on Dec. 9 to the parking lot at 6493 Strip Ave. NW for a report of shots fired.
Investigators said officers learned that a dispute occurred between two male acquaintances. During the altercation, one of the men allegedly brandished a firearm and fired a single shot toward the other man before fleeing the scene prior to police arrival.
No injuries or property damage were reported.
The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information has been released at this time, police said.
