A 39-year-old man was arrested Monday after police say he held a child in front of him and challenged officers to shoot while causing a disturbance inside a Jackson Township restaurant.

Officers with the Jackson Township Police Department were dispatched to Bubba’s Restaurant on Dressler Road for a reported disorderly patron.

According to a police report obtained by Jordan Miller News, Ty Gracie appeared intoxicated, yelled inside the business and threatened an employee. When officers arrived, they said Gracie was holding a child and refused commands. Police reported he told officers to “shoot him in the head” while positioning the child in front of his body.

No injuries were reported.

Gracie was taken into custody and charged with multiple counts of endangering children, as well as disorderly conduct and obstructing official business, court records show.

He posted a $5,000 own-recognizance bond Thursday, Feb. 19, and entered a not guilty plea. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for March 10.
