Jackson Township police searching for woman allegedly abducted at knifepoint

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman police say was forced into a vehicle at knifepoint Wednesday evening.

Police identified the victim as 31-year-old Kayle Giltz, who investigators believe was taken by 38-year-old Jamie Triplett just before 6:30 p.m. along Sunset Strip Avenue NW.

The two were last seen leaving the area in a gray 2021 Hyundai Venue with Ohio license plate KBV3314.

Giltz is described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 200 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a polka dot star dress.

Triplett is described as white, 5 feet 2 inches tall and 180 pounds, with a bald head and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing sweatpants, a hat and white shoes.
