A man who was involved in an early morning crash in Alliance on Saturday has been identified as Nicholas Leon Randall Jr., 29, of the Massillon area, according to the Stark County coroner’s office.
The crash occurred around 2:23 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at the intersection of South Arch Avenue and East State Street.
Police said Randall was driving a Kia southbound on Arch Avenue when he entered the intersection and collided with a westbound 30-foot box truck. The impact caused the truck to overturn onto its side.
Randall’s passenger was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, though the extent of the passenger’s injuries was not immediately known, Alliance Police Sgt. Campbell said.
